A unidirectional, 8″ diameter light suitable as a runway end light for ICAO CAT I, II and III and military runways, the SLEP lamp has a rated life of 1000 hours at full intensity, but over 3000 hours in field operating conditions. The light comes with an adaptor ring for installation on 12″ diameter bases. The light offers stable chromaticity thanks to the use of dichroic filters. Its cast aluminum dome and lower cover make the fitting sturdy, but lightweight too for easy handling in the field.
