01. Site survey
This is an in-depth site survey which not only covers the study of the topography with the latest technical tools but also encompasses the verification of cables and ducts and audits of the substations and ATC Tower. The site survey compares the ideal solution for the client against the actual situation so we can see what is missing and areas that need to be addressed. 02. Design
Here is where our team consults you on the design of AGL installations from ground up or the modification of existing AGL infrastructure to better suit your airport needs.
03. Systems implementation
This includes the collaboration with internal airport resources and third-party vendors to handle end-to-end systems implementation according to the best practices in the industry.
04. Project management
Excellent Project Management (PM) is critical for on time and on budget delivery of every project. The PM ensures full end-to-end delivery, from the discussion and review of technical specifications with the customer to the supervision of daily costings, coordination with third-party vendors and contractors during the installation phase and finishes with the nomination of an on-site manager prior to hand over.
05. Installation
An excellent installation will form the basis for a great functioning airfield for years to come and makes all the difference to the efficiency, safety and sustainability of your airside operations. Here the OCEM Airfield Project Manager guarantees that every installation complies with the highest industry standards and meets ICAO, FAA and EASA requirements, as applicable. S/he will supervise the entire installation and deliver it to the utmost satisfaction of the customer.
06. Commissioning
Once the installation is complete, the commissioning or delivery of the project is scheduled. Commissioning of projects is always on time – if not before schedule – since at OCEM Airfield we understand that time is money.
07. Hand over management
The hand over management comprises a Competence Management Program – as the essential component of hand over. It assesses the current competencies of the customer’s team and looks into the program needed to equip employees with the required skills.
