REIL lights are used on a threshold for additional conspicuity or where other approach lighting aids cannot be provided. The unit comprises two lights, symmetrically mounted on side of the threshold, flashing at the rate of 50-60Hz. In case one of the two lamps fails the entire system is switched off automatically. The two control boxes are identical to each other, easy to set on-site by means of dip-switches (selection Master/Slave, flashing frequency, location of the light in the flashing system). Since the control boxes are interconnected by in-out wirings without the need for external junction boxes, they allow for simple and quick installation.
