The FP150 is used as a runway edge light for ICAO CAT I, II and III, FAA and military runways, and as a threshold/end light on ICAO and NATO instrument runways. A single 150W rated lamp makes replacement quick and easy without the use of tools. Its lamp has a rated life of 1000 hours at full intensity, but over 3000 hours in field operating conditions. It has a two-piece inner glass lens to obtain any color configuration while the outer lens comprises a heat resistant clear glass, with a completely smooth external surface for easy maintenance.
